Sunstar Alpine Circle is a “drive it yourself” tour through the Grison Alps with the option to stay in four of our hotels in the area: Sunstar Lenzerheide, Davos, Klosters and Arosa.
The Alpine Circle tour is a journey into the heart of Grisons with the most striking views along the way. Experience three of the region’s most incredible sights: the Rhine Gorge, the Landwasserviadukt and the Swiss National Park.
4-Nächte / 5-Tage
Day 1 Individual arrival: From central Switzerland (Andermatt) over the impressive Oberalp Pass and towards Versam, before reaching the first sight: the Rhine Gorge. Then it’s time to continue through Grisons’ capital of Chur to Lenzerheide. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sunstar Hotel Lenzerheide.
Day 2 Travel from Lenzerheide to Davos via Filisur. Here, you will encounter the spectacular, world-famous Landwasser Viaduct. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sunstar Hotel Davos.
Day 3 Excursion to the oldest national park in Switzerland. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sunstar Hotel Klosters.
Day 4 Now we continue along beautiful paths to Arosa, where it’s not just mountain enthusiasts and families, but squirrels and bears that can also be found enjoying their holidays. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sunstar Hotel Arosa.
Day 5 Individual travel from Arosa to Chur, the oldest town in Switzerland, before travelling home.
What can I discover?
The tour by car is a modified version of the “Ruta Centrala”, combining the amenities of the Sunstar Hotels with the breathtaking sights the Grison region has to offer. Three of the most impressive sights can be discovered along the way: the Rhine Gorge, the Landwasser Viaduct and the Swiss National Park. Along the route, you will also find countless other activities and fascinating places, including the Heidsee lake and the panoramic restaurant on the Rothorn summit in Lenzerheide, the formerly highest brewery in Switzerland and the Kirchner Museum in Davos, the National Park Centre and the Fortezza Rohan fortress ruins in Engadine, not forgetting the squirrel path and bear sanctuary in Arosa.
